Prime Element
Creations does not collect any type of personally identifiable
information from our visitors, unless such information
is willingly provided by the user. Otherwise, the only
information divulged to us from a visitor during the normal
browsing process is his/her's IP address. An IP address,
or "Internet Protocol" address, is a unique
identification number assigned to all computers connected
to the internet. The nature of the internet causes this
address to be automatically transmitted to any web site
or server that an individual may connect to. As a result,
we receive and record all of the IP addresses of our visitors.
What does this mean in terms of my personal privacy?
In a nutshell, not much. There is very little information
that can be obtained from an IP address alone and certainly
nothing that can personally identify an individual.
Why track IP addresses then?
IP addresses do give us a broad example of where our visitors
reside in the world. When examining our aggregate traffic,
it is often useful to have a general idea of where it
is coming from. IP addresses are also useful in blocking
malicious attempts to harm our servers.
What about cookies?
A cookie is a small piece of information that is sent
to your web browser from our web server, and then saved
to your hard drive. Cookies are often used to save pieces
of information for later use on a particular site (such
as login usernames & passwords). Any portions of our
site that utilize these saving features may require cookies
for proper usage.
Regarding accounts, what do you do with the personal
information supplied by users?
At this time, with the exception of a user's country,
gender, and birth date, no additional information is required
to create and utilize a network account. This data is
used to optimize and provide content targeted at our core
audience. In the future, additional information may be
required for purchase verification purposes. If this happens,
this page will be appropriately updated to reflect the
changes to our policy.
Do you disclose this information to anyone?
With the exception of official law enforcement agencies,
Prime Element Creations will never share any personally
identifiable information with a third party.
